- and right now we are looking to recruit for a Receptionist to join our team.
As the Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your role is to provide concise customer information and service with regards to the facility and its offerings. The role will involve a high level of customer interaction, which will be face to face, emails and dealing with queries over the telephone. In addition, there will be times when you will be required to assist other members of staff.

Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.
About you
The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Oswestry Leisure Centre pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when needed.
We are looking to hear from candidates that have previous experience of dealing face to face with customers in a busy environment including sales experience if possible. You will have good communication and customer care skills, have a maturity and calmness to work under pressure, the ability to handle cash and maintain customer records as well as a good telephone manner and confident with using IT systems. It is desirable that you hold any customer service qualifications as well.
